Placed order and was told it would take an hour to deliver. When we called to complain (at the 1.5hour mark) we were told they were busy and our order was still there. At 2 hours we called and complained, they gave us a discount and the delivery showed up a few minutes later. The discount didn't make up for the lukewarm food, or the 5 hangry people waiting for it. Oh, and the tricolor pasta salad was one color, and had bacon in it. Which made it inedible for the vegetarian who ordered it.
Okay, so their food I have to say is pretty good. My favorites are the salads and empanadas. However, the lady who answers the phone was always pleasant except for today 12/12/13. So they due get very busy and I understand that. I had food delivered and tipped the driver but they forgot the gorgonzola cheese in the salad. I called back to see if they can bring the cheese she informed me it will be about a 1/2 hr the delivery girl is out doing deliveries. I call back and tell her (same lady) to credit my cc back they I don't want the cheese or the salad. She says okay, sorry about that she will credit my cc and bring the salad back. What? I call back again for the 3rd time and speak to Rosie who now I know why she is the owner; handled it the right way that she will credit my cc and to keep the salad. Yeah, that is the right thing to do....I thank Rosie who know's how to run a food business...Now if she can just get rid of the one who answers the phone she will be successful and long term.
I have worked in the area for over 14years .Prior to this guy running the Cafe , was a great place Rosie cared about her service THE PEOPLE .I had stop ordering from the place .However , I figure a breakfast sandwich one can not go wrong , the new guy is horrible no manners , and no respect for some .I called he placed the phone down left me on hold , I could hear the whole conversation, I then called back he said he was very busy to deliver .The worst I will stick to my ALLENDALE EATS THE BEST Denise and Kyle are the best always accommodating no matter what time or place great service MORNING DEW CAFE STINKS
